Space Odyssey – Reorientation of the Body is a Virtual Reality project created by Interior Design student Rokelle Sun. Produced as part of the Principal Interior Design course at Parsons, this VR environment was made in SketchupVR as a concept for the the Aronson Gallery at 66 Fifth Avenue in New York.
The concept of space odyssey is reorientation of the body and activating all surfaces. Through the illusions of levitation, a optically wondrous place is designed to experience and explore ( visual and physical) possibilities. It allows the body to experience and be supported on all surfaces of the form.
